Know Before You Go
The San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum was created to provide a fun place for children and families to explore, discover and learn through hands-on exhibits and programs. Three floors and an outside playscape are jam packed with exhibits for children ages two to ten. Unique, educational programs and activities are scheduled throughout each week. We're where learn-by-doing begins!

Service animals are always welcome.
Adults are not permitted to visit without children. However, we encourage adults to visit the Children's Museum and take a staff-led tour. Based on staff availability.
Please adhere to our 1 adult to maximum 5 children requirement.
Do not enter if you are experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath or have been exposed to somebody with COVID-19.
Strollers
We've packed exhibits and activities into every corner of the Children's Museum, which leaves no room for strollers. Strollers may be parked in the back play space. Sorry for any inconvenience.
