Lisa Rizzo served the Children's Museum for two terms from 2014 to 2020, guiding the team as both Board President and Exhibits Committee Chair. Under her leadership, the Museum thrived and installed several consequential exhibits, such as the Western Town, Construction Zone, Climbing Wall, Doctor’s Office, Mist Garden and Mission to Mars. Lisa is an author, wife, mother and higher education professional. She currently works at Cal Poly in Assessment and Research under Student Affairs Administration and Divisional Operations. Join us as we give her extremely well-deserved props!

Donna Hall is getting a well-deserved shout-out, too! Donna is well into her fifteenth year with the Children’s Museum, running The Studio and assisting guests. Have you ever painted a raw fish here? Or learned the basics of Cubism? Donna gets the credit! Born in Chicago, Donna has been a Central Coast resident for two decades. She lives with her husband in Morro Bay and has two adult children and two grandchildren. Prior to joining SLOCM, Donna coordinated juried art shows across Southern California. She greatly values her time working with the vibrant Museum staff, watching the little kiddos grow, and meeting people from all over the world.

Chef Candice Custodio is a Cal Poly alumna and Los Angeles native who now calls the Central Coast her home. She has held various positions as an Executive Chef, Restaurant/Menu Consultant, Private Chef, and has been featured on the Food Network's Chopped. Candice is currently the Chef at Kindred Oak Farm in Paso Robles, as well as the owner and operator of Club SupSup, a latin inspired 8-seat monthly supper club.
